FlyQuest makes it two in a row after win over 3DMAX in Bucharest
FlyQuest continued on their winning ways at Bucharest as FlyQuest took down 3DMAX in their 1-1 bracket game at the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. The Australian are now one win away from making Playoffs after their win over the French squad
FlyQuest's pick of Train got things going with an INS triple securing a T side pistol for the Australians. A string of rounds for both teams rounded out a close opening half with FlyQuest taking a two round lead and despite early impact from Lucky that had 3DMAX in the lead, regali's AWP powered FlyQuest to a 13-9 win with Vexite topping the scoreboard with 24 kills.
A Graviti 1v2 saw 3DMAX start their map pick of Inferno with the pistol and after seven straight rounds, regali's double opener with the AWP saw FlyQuest get on the board. Four on the trot gave FlyQuest something to fight with and the T side pistol and conversions saw FlyQuest quickly go on to tie up the score at 8-8. Eight, though, was all FlyQuest could manage as 3DMAX stopped a comeback attempt from FlyQuest to tie up the series after a 13-8 win on Inferno.
FlyQuest fought back from a 1-4 scoreline to tie up the opening half on Dust2, the decider, with regali once again being key for the Australian team. nettik denied Lucky a heroic 1v3 to give FlyQuest a big pistol and which saw them gain the early momentum on their CT half before a trade of rounds saw 3DMAX bring it to a one-round game. jks with a saved AK-47 and INS' MP9 saw FlyQuest steal match point and it was FlyQuest turning around a 4v5 to lock in Dust2 13-10 to take the series 2-1.
FlyQuest now move into the 2-1 bracket and are one game away from making Playoffs while 3DMAX drop to the 1-2 bracket and face elimination.
