FlyQuest on the board in Bucharest after win over fnatic
FlyQuest have picked up their first win at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 following their win over fnatic in their 0-1 bracket game. The Australian squad had to battle hard against blameF and co. and locked in a 2-0 win to move into the 1-1 bracket.
A clean A site hit saw FlyQuest start Inferno with the flawless pistol win on their T side but fnatic answered back instantly with the force and upgraded pistols. The force and two more CT rounds were all fnatic could manage as a strong T side led by captain INS saw FlyQuest go 9-3 up. regali's quad kill in the second half pistol was unable to deny fnatic from taking a crucial pistol off which blameF and co. put up a stunning comeback. Six in a row from fnatic was stopped finally with impact from INS again and a back and forth end to Inferno saw FlyQuest just about hold on for a 13-11 win.
Mirage was a similar story as FlyQuest raced away to a strong start, picking up 8 defensive rounds, finding late momentum after a trade of rounds to get the map underway. The second half pistol helped them hit map point early before a blameF triple saw fnatic once again begin a comeback. fnatic threatened overtime once again before FlyQuest held for another 13-11 to lock in a 2-0 series win.
FlyQuest now moves into the 1-1 bracket while fnatic drops to the 0-2 bracket and are staring at elimination.
