Rooster loses their opening ESL Pro League game to G2

The start to ESL Pro League Season 22 Stage 1 hasn't been worth cherishing for the Australian team Rooster, who have gone down 0-2 to G2 Esports in their opening game.

The Bo3 kicked off on Rooster's pick of Overpass, where they posted a respectable five rounds on the T-side. In the second half, they converted the first three CT rounds to find an 8-7 lead. However, the game took a grave turn for them from that point, as G2 conceded a solitary round win to seize a 13-9 win.

The second map did no favours to Rooster either, as they could only muster a meagre three rounds on their T-side of Inferno. On the other hand G2, did not let Rooster find any momentum in the second half, speedrunning the game to clinch a 13-3 victory.
