Vitality wins ESL Pro League Season 22
Vitality have won their second ESL Pro League title of 2025 after taking down Falcons in the Grand Final of the ESL Pro League Season 22. The reigning Major champions kicked off their bid for a second Major of the year by picking up their first trophy of the second half of 2025 and it was apEX and co. keeping it clean against Falcons, going 3-0 to win ESL Pro League Season 22.
For the organisation, it was Vitality's third ESL Pro League title in their history as they became the joint-most successful team in the ESL Pro League history. ropz, meanwhile, picked up a record fifth ESL Pro League title, having previously won with MOUZ and FaZe as well.
Consecutive B hits saw Falcons start Vitality's pick of Inferno with the pistol and a 3-0 start on their T side before flameZ got going and it was the Israeli rifler having hot start that saw Vitality take control on the early gun rounds. A m0NESY double opener at B on a force buy late on in the half gave Falcons the momentum and they made sure to tie up the opening half. A T-side pistol put Vitality on the path for a clean win on Inferno and despite Falcons picking up a couple of rounds, it was Vitality closing their pick at 13-10.
Train saw Falcons quickly get their T side going after dropping the pistol and after a close start, it was Vitality taking the lead at the very end as flameZ once again had a strong start which saw Vitality gain momentum at the very end to go 8-4. The second half pistol saw Vitality once again race away to a quick 11-4 lead and like on Inferno, Falcons managed a couple of rounds but it wasn't enough as Vitality closed Train off the back of a quick mixed buy hit that saw them take a 13-9 win.
Heading to Dust2, a map Falcons hadn't played even once in the event, a mezii 1v4 in the pistol saw Vitality start with five in a row before m0NESY from ramp got Falcons on the board. apEX was out-calling kyxsan as Falcons were just not able to catch out Vitality and it was one-way traffic that saw Vitality ease to a 13-5 win to seal the series 3-0 and take home the title.
While Vitality took the title, the only consolidation for Falcons was that their star AWP-er, m0NESY left the event as the highest rated player and the HLTV MVP for the ESL Pro League Season 22.
