ESL announces 2028 event dates

Through a press release, ESL announced their event dates for 2028. The prolific Counter-Strike tournament organizer has announced six S-tier events for 2028. ESL is set to host one event lesser than 2025, 2026 and 2027 in 2028. In 2026, ESL will host a Major in Cologne marking the first Counter-Strike Major by ESL at Cologne in over a decade with the venue last hosting a Counter-Strike Major in 2014-2016.

ESL's event dates for 2028 is as follows:

• ESL Event #1 -26th - 6th February

• ESL Event #2 - 3rd - 19th March

• ESL Event #3 - 10th - 16th April

• ESL Event #4 - 2nd - 13th August

• ESL Event #5 - 16th September - 1st October

• ESL Event #6 - 23rd - 29th October

However, ESL has added that more tournaments could be on the cards and in case of which, they would post separate announcements. Additional information for the announced events is set to follow its due course as per ESL's announcement. All the six announced events are set to run as a part of the ESL Pro Tour circuit which validates the coveted ESL Grand Slam progression.
