The action continued at the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific 4 with the second day seeing four teams head home including the lone Indian team, Arise.

LOWER BRACKET

Early exit for Bhavi's boys

The lower bracket games got things underway and The QUBE smashed Chinese team DQZS, picking up dominating wins, 13-1 on Ancient and 13-3 on Overpass to send their opponents home and stay live in the event.

The only Indian team in the event, Arise, comprising of the likes of reV3nnnn, clouda, EmbeR, Bhavi and Benzene, dropped an 8-4 lead on their pick of Ancient to exit after a 0-2 loss to Just Swing, with Bhavi's boys forfeiting the second map due to a clash with the Chennai Esports Global Championship qualifier.

Legion, NomadS head home as well after early losses

The other side of the lower bracket games saw Pakistani team Legion go down to Change The Game with PokemoN and co. suffering a 5-13 loss on Inferno and a 8-13 loss on Dust2 to exit early from the tournament. Mongolian side NomadS shared the same fate as they went down fighting to BORING PLAYERS in the other lower bracket game, suffering back-to-back 11-13 losses.

UPPER BRACKET

Mongolian teams keep it clean

The upper bracket quarter-finals, meanwhile, saw the Mongolian teams dominate. Chinggis Warriors ran through compatriots IHC in their upper bracket encounter, with cool4st starring in a clean 2-0 win for Chinggis Warriors, where they picked up a 13-7 and a 13-2 win to wrap up the series.

Another Mongolian team, Eruption, meanwhile, took down Chinese squad GATERON in their matchup. Eruption saw off a late comeback attempt from the Chinese team on Ancient to hold on for a 13-10 win before going 13-5 on their own map pick of Dust2 to close the series in two.

FengDa, Kaleido keep UB run going

The last two games of the day saw a Chinese derby, between Last Bullet and Kaleido, in the upper bracket quarter-finals with Kaleido reverse sweeping Last Bullet. Despite falling 11-13 on Mirage, Kaleido bounced back with a big 13-5 win on Inferno before the rage show on Ancient in a double overtime game saw them take a 19-15 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and make the upper bracket semis.

Another Chinese team, FengDa, meanwhile had it easy against Iranian team ScarX. The T side pistol and conversions saw ScarX go 6-2 up on Inferno before FengDa closed the half with four on the trot to tie up the half and a strong T side saw them steal a 13-9 win. Dust2 was a much more dominant display, with former Rare Atom player Trash having a strong map that saw FengDa ease to a 13-4 win.
