FURIA smash Lynn Vision to start Chengdu campaign in style
Lynn Vision were blown away by FURIA in their opening game at IEM Chengdu 2025. Lynn Vision, one of the two home teams, suffered a similar fate as they compatriots, TYLOO, as both Chinese teams started the event with big losses.
Dust2, Lynn Vision's pick, started with the Chinese team taking the CT pistol and a retake in the force but once FURIA brought out the guns, it was back-and-forth half with FURIA managing to sneak a two-round lead with KSCERATO having a strong T side. A 1v3 from EmiliaQAQ on the B site handed Lynn Vision one out of three T rounds they could manage as a relatively toothless T side saw FURIA dominate to a 13-8 win to draw first blood in the series.
Overpass was a non-starter for Lynn Vision as barring two CT rounds, there was nothing Lynn Vision found as they were unable to stop a dominant 10 round T side from FURIA. The Brazilian squad eased to a 13-2 win to seal the series 2-0, without breaking a sweat. Lynn Vision now have dropped to the lower bracket and will fight for survival tomorrow against the loser of the G2 - 3DMAX team.
