Skyesports CEGC CS2 opening matchups revealed
The qualifiers have concluded and the final six teams for the LAN are locked in as the Counter-Strike 2 tournament of Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship begins this weekend on 7th November 2025. These six teams are split into two groups running round-robins iterations to determine two grand-finalists. With Wicked Gaming and Arise from the Indian qualifier, Mousquetaires and BIG from the European qualifier and Nemesis and True Thunder from the Southeast Asian qualifier, here's how the opening games have shaped up:

In Group A, Bhavi's team Arise will go up against BIG. The Indian IGL faced BIG last year at another Skyesports event. In Skyesports Masters 2024, Bhavi, dawning Gods Reign colors went down to BIG in a 0-2 lower-bracket matchup. The other Indian side in the tournament, Wicked Gaming will square up against Mousquetaires who cleared the European qualifiers.
Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship CS2 carries a prize pool of $50,000 USD and will run as a tier-2 Valve ranked event.
