Refrag fires co-owner after a toxic clip surfaced on X

Many users mention similar instances

After a clip from one of Maestr0's FACEIT games surfaced online, where the former Counter-Strike 1.6 player and coach is seen throwing a temper tantrum in the second round of the game, Refrag quickly responded to the post, informing the community that Maestr0, the co-owner of the platform had been let go. Taking about Maestr0's comments to his teammate asking him to "find a f*cking bridge..", Refrag strongly condemned the language.

We pride ourselves on having a positive, friendly community where toxicity like this doesn’t have a place. It goes against everything we stand for and we’re deeply sorry for the damage this caused.
Refrag on Maestr0's toxicity

Maestr0 apparently gets tilted after a teammate buys a deagle on the pistol round and goes on to pin the blame on the same for conceding the pistol round on a random FACEIT pug. "No, I can't start over! Because I can't go back to the last round for you to sell your f**king deagle, you dumb f*ck. Because I hate when people like you play the game this way!", said Maestr0 after his team lost the pistol round. When confronted about his language while holding a high position on Refrag, Maestr0 goes off the rails shooting out passive aggressive "Nice!"s, while asking his teammates to "go have fun" with his "funny number" (referring to his Elo).

Refrag took action against the co-owner within a matter of hours, confirming that the individual would no longer represent Refrag. "This is long long overdue, Maestr0 should have never been involved with Refrag in the first place. Anyone who has ever encountered him in a pug / valve mm knows this is how he has been forever. " said a reddit user, while others mentioned similar experiences with Maestr0, confirming that the clip on X was not a one-off incident.

Another user on reddit threw strays at the other owner of Refrag, Casey Foster, linking him to the infamous iBUYPOWER scandal and alleging him of "ruining" the North American Counter-Strike scene.
