PGL forced to adjust dates of multiple CS2 events in 2026

PGL cancels Belgrade 2026, which was supposed to be held in October

PGL has announced an update to its Counter-Strike 2 2026 tournament schedule after overlapping events announced by another organiser, forcing them to adjust dates for multiple events. The revised 2026 calendar includes three major events. PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, running from February 9-22, PGL Bucharest was moved to end a day earlier, now scheduled from April 3-11, and PGL Astana 2026, scheduled for May 7-17, 2026.

The Astana event will be followed closely by CAC 2026, beginning May 19,2026 in Shanghai. PGL also stated that they and Perfect World will coordinate to allow teams to compete in both events, giving participants a combined shot at $2.6 million in prize money.

An October 2026 CS2, PGL Belgrade 2026 event has been cancelled due to further date conflicts, but PGL confirmed another Tier 1 tournament will run from October 22 to November 2, with details to come.
