FlyQuest steamrolled by NAVI in Budapest Major Stage 2's first game
After a flawless run in Stage 1 of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, FlyQuest came crashing down to Earth as the Australian team were outclassed by Natus Vincere (NAVI) in their opening game at Stage 2. FlyQuest were hammered 2-13, as they were no match for the inaugural CS2 Major champions. FlyQuest will have a chance to end their opening day at Stage 2 on a better note as after dropping into the 0-1 bracket, they will be action later on today once again for their second BO1.
Clean shooting from b1t saw NAVI start Train with a near-flawless pistol and it was a total shutdown from Aleksib and co. as FlyQuest failed to get past NAVI's defence early on. After the opening 7 rounds, FlyQuest had just six kills on board in total as the Australian team were unable to keep up with NAVI. regali's attempt at a 1v3 in the 10th round was the closest FlyQuest came to getting a round but the Romanian AWP-er could manage only a single kill with NAVI putting up a flawless and commanding CT side to go 12-0 up.
A double from regali and jks saw FlyQuest deny NAVI a flawless win but NAVI wasted no time in closing things out at 13-2 with w0nderful and iM turning around a 2v4 to shut out FlyQuest. b1t topped the scoreboard on Train with an incredible 20-4 performance, with an ADR of 117.
