FlyQuest sent home from the Budapest Major by Astralis
FlyQuest's StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 campaign is over following the Australian team's loss to Astralis in their 0-2 bracket game at Stage 2. After going flawless in Stage 1, FlyQuest have crashed out without winning a single map in Stage 2 which sees jks and co. go home in a disappointing manner.
FlyQuest started their pick of Mirage with the T pistol and conversions that saw them take a 3-0 lead but the Australian team couldn't capitalise on that as sloppy showing in gun rounds meant that it was Astralis taking a 7-5 lead. device, who had a slow start to the game, started the second half with a quad on the pistol and the old duo of device and Magisk saw Astralis put in a flawless T side to see the Danish team start the series with a 13-5 win.
Despite losing the opening pistol on their pick of Overpass, FlyQuest put up a strong CT side led by regali and jks and it looked like they would win out the half as a fumble in the final round of the half saw Astralis steal a mixed buy round with jabbi's Deagle getting the Danish squad a sixth T round. The second half pistol win and a mixed buy win with a jks double opener on the Tec-9 meant that FlyQuest hit double digits first. Back-to-back multi-kill rounds from jabbi along with a massive double kill round on the AWP from device from Washroom saw Astralis hit match point first and it was the Danish team holding on for a 13-11 win to win the series 2-0.
The win keeps Astralis alive at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 as they move into the 1-2 bracket while FlyQuest heads home with a disappointing 0-3 record.
