TYLOO reverse swept out of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025

The end of the road for TYLOO

TYLOO have been sent packing from the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2 after getting reverse swept by Liquid in the 1-2 bracket elimination game. The only remaining Asian team in Stage 2 had the match in their hand on the decider on Inferno with four match points but wasn't able to close it out and late implosion from TYLOO saw them go down to EliGE and co. and exit the Major.

A near flawless retake on the B site saw TYLOO kick off Ancient with the pistol and early conversions helped them go 4-0 up before ultimate and NertZ stepped up to get Liquid on the board. With NAF waking up late, Liquid manage to salvage the half to keep TYLOO's lead to two. A full house from JamYoung and Jee saw TYLOO lock in both pistols and a clinical T side from the Chinese squad saw them race to a 13-9 win.

After drawing first blood, TYLOO went missing to get Train underway as a stellar Liquid defense gave nothing away to see siuhy and co. start with seven consecutive CT rounds. With Jee and Moseyuh having a couple of multi-kill rounds at the end, TYLOO found four on a hapless T side before a stellar start to their T side saw them race to match point thanks to an incredible 1v3 from ultimate on the A site in the first gun round. One CT round was all TYLOO could manage as NAF shut out TYLOO to see Liquid answer back with a dominant 13-5 win.

Jee's Dualies saw TYLOO pick up the opening pistol on Inferno Liquid found a couple of consecutive early T rounds. Liquid had the half in their hand but a big 1v2 retake from Jee on the A site saw TYLOO fight back and with their star rifler JamYoung having strong defensive holds, TYLOO started with a big 8-4 lead. NertZ and EliGE pushed down middle to see Liquid even out the pistols on Inferno. The pistol win and conversions saw Liquid bring it to a one round game before back-to-back B hits saw TYLOO's T side take shape. TYLOO had the map in their hands but they dropped four match points to let Liquid push the decider to overtime.

TYLOO lost their edge in overtime with a sloppy T side which eventually let Liquid fightback to steal a 16-14 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.
