StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2 Day 4: Schedule and Standings

The third day's action at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2 is done and dusted and we have three teams headed to Stage 3 while we said goodbye to the likes of TYLOO, fnatic and Aurora.

fnatic were the first team to be eliminated on the third day as they were cleaned up 2-0 up Passion UA in the 1-2 bracket game which saw the former Complexity core stay alive at the Major. Danish powerhouse Astralis fought back heroically against Aurora and reverse swept the Turkish squad to send Aurora home after a big 2-1 win to keep the Danes' Major hopes alive.

PARIVISION saw off multiple map points against Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) to make Stage 3 as Jame and his young guns refuse to give up. NIP now have to win their final game if they want to qualify. Imperial meanwhile put in a big performance against M80 to qualify to Stage 3 against all the odds with a 3-1 record, pushing M80 into the 2-2 bracket.

Liquid scraped by to stay alive at the expense of TYLOO, who choked a 12-8 lead on the decider to get reverse swept out of the Major. 3DMAX meanwhile fell to B8 in the final game of the game, which saw B8 qualify to the next stage while the French team have one last chance to make it through.

We will have three BO3s today with everything on the line. Passion UA will kick things off against M80 before Liquid face their old nemesis in Astralis. The final game of the day will have NIP and 3DMAX fight it out for the final Stage 3 spot.
