PGL confirms Singapore Major 2026

A Counter-Strike Major in SEA for the first-time ever!

Just two days after reports suggesting that the second Major of 2026 will take place in Singapore, PGL has officially announced that they will be hosting the second Major of 2026 which indeed will take place in Singapore. The PGL Singapore Major will be taking place between November 25 - December 13, 2026 with a prize pool of $1,250,000 prize pool.

The PGL Singapore Major 2025 will also be the second Counter-Strike Major to be held in Asia and the first-ever in Southeast Asia. The Perfect World Shanghai Major in 2024, which was the second Major of 2024 was the first-ever Major to be held in Asia. The PGL Singapore Major 2026 will follow the current format with a total of 32 teams fighting it out across the three stages (Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3) before the top 8 move to the Playoffs. The Playoffs is set to be held a the Singapore Indoor Stadium, with the tournament set to continue to have a best-of-five grand final, which kicks off from the ongoing StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

The PGL Singapore Major 2026 will be PGL's fifth Counter-Strike Major after the PGL Krakow 2017, PGL Stockholm 2021, PGL Antwerp 2022, and PGL Copenhagen 2024.

PGL have stated that details regarding tickets will be announced soon with tickets expected to go on sale 'in the coming months'.
