FACEIT bans multiple former Indian pros for platform abuse after a new exposed incident

ChAmp, Recoilmaster, and vel0city have been banned for 90 days for farming FACEIT points through platform abuse

A series of serious allegations have surfaced regarding suspected match manipulation, admin misconduct, and privacy violations on FACEIT against Indian players ChAmp and his team_F. The allegations were made reddit user u/ITACHI_Daisuki in the FACEITcom community.

According to the report, ChAmp has been repeatedly abusing the platform and evading recent ban waves, reportedly due to his association with admin/support member DarKPhoeniXC. Multiple players in the group have allegedly been exploiting tournaments to farm points. The players who were allegedly involved in this misconduct are:

India ChAmp
India AIM-4-HeAD
India PyR0_
India Owned07
India vel0city
India RIDDLESDICE
India Recoilmaster

Recoilmaster and ChAmp had been a part of VICTORES SUMUS this year, and had earlier represented 2ez Gaming. vel0city is also a former India pro player, having played for teams like Wasted Potential, Enigma, and Marcos Gaming.

u/ITACHI_Daisuki observed a series of patterns within the past few weeks:

  • Admin-assisted match manipulation

  • Intentional disconnections to force match abandonment

  • Players jumping between two tournaments simultaneously

  • Admin misusing platform privileges

  • Privacy violations (reading Matchroom chat of other teams)

The first incident occurred during a normal competitive match where ChAmP allegedly instructed the admin to disconnect his own LAN cable. The admin complied and disconnected himself mid-match. After that, the entire team abandoned and joined another tournament.

u/ITACHI_Daisuki also reported other incidents of misconduct, involving privacy violations by the admin, the teams and players participating in multiple tournaments simultaneously, exploiting timeouts and overlapping rosters to stall matches. All allegations are supported by videos, screenshots, logs, and documented timelines.

Upon investigation, a Keith, a FACEIT staff, found the reported players and admin guilty of the violation, who are now banned on FACEIT for platform abuse. Keith reported that while they could not gather enough evidence to verify an abuse of permission from the admin, he was found violating matchroom privacy, and hence was banned too. While the players received a login ban for 3 months (starting from Dec 8, 2025), DarKPhoeniXC received a ban for a year.
