Rare Atom bring in chengking

Rare Atom have announced that they have signed chengking with the 18-year old Chinese player joining the team as their fifth. chengking moves to Rare Atom after a year and half long stint at FengDa and will replace Marek at the team, who was standing in as the team's fifth for the last couple of months.

Holding a rating of 1.11 in 2025, chengking comes into the Rare Atom team, who have been battling to find a permanent fifth since kaze's departure which led to their assistant coach Marek having to step in for Rare Atom at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 1, where Rare Atom crashed out 0-3 in 15-16th place after losses to Imperial, Legacy and GamerLegion. chengking will make his debut for Rare Atom at the upcoming eXTREMESLAND CS Asia Open 2025.

It will be a big move up for chengking as well with the young rifler having little to no experience against top 20 teams. Ranked #49 in HLTV's world rankings and #63 in the VRS, Rare Atom's abysmal showing at the Budapest Major 2025 has seen slip down the ranks and now are #4 in the HLTV regional rankings - Asia.
