Offstrike 2026 format revealed

Through a post on X, the tournament organizer has announced additional details including format and VRS invitation dates for Offstrike 2026. The event is set to run entirely on LAN, including the group stage. Offstrike 2026 will be Pakistan's first high profile Counter-Strike LAN in a long time. Six teams will enter the round-robin group stage which will run as a studio LAN. These six teams will receive tournament invites as per January 2026's VRS update.

The organizer claims that Offstrike 2026 aligns with Valve's ranked tier 2 requirements and will determine which stages of the tournament will have VRS points on the line as and when confirmed by HLTV. Teams ranked within the top 12 of the Global VRS at the time of invitations are not eligible to take part in the event.

Two teams each from Asia, Europe and Pakistan will receive invites for the event. The group stage of event runs between 23rd and 26th March 2026 and the final is scheduled for 28th March 2026 at the DreamWorld Resort, Karachi, Pakistan. The seeding for the group stage will be done based on January 2026's VRS update. In the group stage, six teams are split into two equal groups and ones who emerge on top after a round-robin iteration will head into the final.
