Eruption lock in a semi-final appearance at eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025
Eruption annihilated Nemesis SEA at the Quarter-Finals of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025 to proceed to the final four. They are now set to take on the winner of Lynn Vision and JiJieHao.
The Bo3 started off on Nemesis SEA's pick of Overpass, where they started strong by capitalising with an early 4-1 lead. However, things took a grave turn from there on out, as fury5k came alive to help Eruption secure a 7-5 lead on the CT-side. Overturning Eruption's strong momentum became too tall an order for Nemesis SEA, as they fell flat in the second half to lose by a 5-13 scoreline.
The second map in play was Train, chosen by Eruption. The start to their T-side couldn't have been better, as they rallied to a 10-0 lead. While Nemesis SEA managed to secure the final two rounds of the half, winning the second pistol put the final nail in the coffin for Eruption, as they sealed the deal with another 13-5 close.
