JiJieHao dominates Eruption to proceed to eXTREMESLAND Asia Open Final
Today’s early-morning semi-final at ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025 saw the winners from yesterday lock horns, as world No. 198 Eruption took on world No. 94 JiJieHao in a best-of-three, and the match turned out to be as one-sided as the difference in rankings suggested.
The game started on Dust2, a pick of JiJieHao, where they started on the T-side. It turned out to be a bloodbath for JiJieHao, who went on to win the game by a 13-3 margin after a 9-3 T-side. It was a complete domination for JiJieHao, with four out of five players boasting a 1.40+ rating across the map.
The next map Train, turned out to be an even crueler outing for Eruption, who failed to convert a single round on the T-side, ending the first half in a 0-12 deficit. They managed to save face by winning the pistol, but that is where the story ended for them, as JiJieHao secured the follow up to close out the game with a 13-1 win.
