IEM China's club reward revised
IEM China is set to be ESL's last event of 2026
Through a blogpost, ESL has announced that IEM China 2026's club will see a significant adjustment. With IEM Cologne 2026 designated to run a Major, the prize pool component of the event will be decided by Valve. While IEM Cologne 2026 features a prize pool of $1,250,000 USD it does not include a dedicated club reward.
As a result, ESL has announced that the club reward previously dedicated for IEM Cologne 2026 will now be reallocated to IEM China 2026, bumping up its total prize pool to $1,250,000 USD as the club reward for the event goes from $700,000 USD to $950,000 USD. IEM China 2026 will take place in early November featuring sixteen teams.
