Arise is the only Indian team left in Asian VRS
Valve has released the important January 2026 Valve Regional Standings update which determines invitations for various elite Counter-Strike events. India however is off to a rough start with Arise being the only Indian team left in the Asian VRS. Bhavi and co. are at the bottom of the table in the Asian scene at #41 while holding #283 in the Global VRS. Arise closed out 2025 with a Dust2 India 1xBET Masters win. Towards the top, very little has changed with The MongolZ still holding the top spot in the Asian VRS and a few other teams going through single spot swaps.
In HLTV's rankings, Arise and Wicked retain their previous spots at #26 and #21, in the regional rankings - Asia.
In the Global VRS, swamped at the top within a 100-points range are FURIA, Vitality and Falcons in that particular order with Spirit and NAVI rounding off the Global top five in the year's first VRS update. FaZe climb ten places off of their Budapest Major run, securing #7 as The MongolZ drop down a couple of spots to #8. Aurora slip down five places, nearly tumbling out of the top ten at #9 and B8 has climbed up six spots to enter the Global top ten at #10.
