PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026: Preview

Counter-Strike action doesn't stop and the best Counter-Strike teams are heading to Romania for the upcoming $1.25 million tournament, PGL Cluj-Napoca. The 16-team event will see the likes of Vitality, Falcons, The MongolZ, PARIVISION amongst others in action as the second Tier-1 event of the year is set to get underway.

The tournament which will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, will have almost all of the big names from the Counter-Strike world with Spirit being the biggest names not present. While donk and co. have decided to give the Romanian event a miss, the likes of Vitality, Falcons, FURIA, MOUZ, PARIVISION, Natus Vincere (NAVI), G2 and Astralis amongst other names will be present with The MongolZ being the only representatives from Asia.

The tournament will see a Group Stage format move into the Playoffs with the Group Stage games following a Swiss BO3 format while the Playoffs will be single elimination BO3 matches. The final will be a BO5 encounter while there will also be a third place decider game, which will be a BO3 game.
