Rossi wins another LAN after announcing retirement

ElysiumX, A gaming cafe in Bengaluru hosted a Counter-Strike 2 LAN in the city over the last weekend on 24th and 25th January 2026. The LAN, powered by ZOWIE, carried a combined prize pool of ₹40,000 INR. While the direct cash component tallied up to ₹28,000 INR with the winner bagging ₹16,000 INR, a hardware prize worth ₹2,000 INR and game time rewards worth ₹10,000 INR were also handed out to other exceptional performers in the tournament.

Following Gods Reign's withdrawal from the Counter-Strike scene last year, Rossi announced his retirement from the competitive space. However, the Indian veteran is still a familiar face at most local Counter-Strike and VALORANT LANs. Rossi's team- Bengaluru Boys, took part in ElysiumX's LAN and ended up winning the event. His outing at ElysiumX's LAN marked the second Counter-Strike LAN win for Rossi since his retirement was announced.

Rossi's team also won DSD Premium Gaming Counter-Strike 2 LAN Legends back in October 2025, five months after Rossi announced his retirement on X. The lineup that won ElysiumX's LAN in Bengaluru is as follows:
