Playoff teams for IEM Kraków 2026 locked in

Vitality, Spirit start in the semi-finals

With MOUZ eliminating Falcons from IEM Kraków 2026 to make their way to the Playoffs, the team list for the playoffs has been locked in as we have our quarter-finalists and semi-finalists. Vitality and Spirit start in the semi-finals while G2, MOUZ, Aurora and FURIA have to grind it out from the quarter-finals.

Group A

Spirit were the first to the makes semi-finals as they saw off a spirited G2 and had to pull off a big comeback on Dust2 in overtime to make the final four. Spirit had had a clean run into the Group A upper bracket final, having seen off Astralis and Natus Vincere (NAVI) before dropping their first map of the tournament against G2 in the upper bracket final. Spirit will take on the winner of the Aurora vs FURIA quarter-final.

G2 were the other team to make the Playoffs from Group A with huNter- and co. continuing their stellar run from Stage 1. G2 cleaned up The MongolZ in their first game in the group stages before reverse sweeping FUT to make the upper final. They almost got it done against Spirit but fell at the final hurdle but nevertheless will be in action in the Playoffs. G2 are set to go up against MOUZ in their quarter-final bout.

One of the hottest teams in the second half of 2025, FURIA had a mixed start to 2026 and that inconsistent form continued into IEM Kraków 2026. The FalleN-led squad were shocked by FUT in their opening game and had to battle it out through the lower bracket to make the quarter-finals. The eliminated The MongolZ first, before sending NAVI and Astralis home to make their way to the Playoffs.

Group B

Vitality, the team of 2025, started their Kraków run with the ZywOo vs s1mple clash as apEX and co. took down BC.Game in their opening game. They eased past 3DMAX to book their slot in the Playoffs before playing a series for the ages against Aurora in the upper bracket final. A quadruple overtime affair kicked off Vitality's match against Aurora were they picked up their first-ever Ancient win and wrapped up the series to make their way to the semi-finals. They now await the MOUZ vs G2 quarter-final winner for their opponents in the top four.

Aurora had to dig deep to make the Playoffs, having to battle past Falcons in their opening game before seeing off MOUZ to book their place in the arena. Their loss to Vitality in the upper final means that they start in the quarter-finals and will be up against FURIA to a spot in the top four.

The sixth and final team to make the Playoffs was MOUZ, who had to battle through the lower bracket. After a clean 2-0 against NRG in their opening game, MOUZ were sent to the lower bracket by Aurora, following a loss in the upper bracket semi-final. They smashed FaZe with ease to keep themselves alive before edging out Falcons in the lower bracket final to make Playoffs.
