Rare Atom, TYLOO and Lynn Vision still in the mix for BLAST Rotterdam spot

The opening day of the Playoffs at the Yuqilin Pinnacle of Battle Season 2, which is the qualifier event for Asian teams for BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, saw the quarter-finals take place with the usual suspects of TYLOO, Rare Atom, Lynn Vision still in the fight for a slot in Rotterdam.

Here's a quick look at the results from the first day at the Yuqilin Pinnacle of Battle Season 2.

The Huns go down to Morningstar; Lynn Vision ease past Alter Ego

The quarter-final matches kicked off with The Huns taking on Chinese team Morningstar and a six round streak on the CT side saw Morningstar tie up the opening half. A back and forth affair saw all rounds of regulation needed as Morningstar picked up a 13-11 win with suki shining with 24 kills to get his team over the line. Dust2 was a more comfortable affair for Morningstar as rage dropped a 1.74 rating to see Morningstar take a 13-7 win to send The Huns home.

Lynn Vision were up against BnTeT's mixed squad Alter Ego and the Chinese team cleaned up Alter Ego in two straight maps. On their opponent's pick of Anubis, Lynn Vision started with a 13-9 win before closing out the series with a near-flawless CT side on their pick of Dust2 to keep their dreams of making the BLAST event alive.

Rare Atom battle past NomadS; TYLOO send FengDa home

Rare Atom took on NomadS in their quarter-final bout with a dominating 13-4 win on their pick of Dust2 seeing Rare Atom gain the early advantage. NomadS almost dropped a 9-3 lead on their pick of Ancient as Rare Atom came close to pulling off a big comeback but the Mongolian team held on for a 13-11 win. The decider on Inferno was a one-sided affair as the ChildKing and Tiger show as Rare Atom ease to a 13-4 win to move into the semi-finals.

TYLOO went up against compatriots FengDa in their matchup with a strong CT side on FengDa's pick of Mirage seeing TYLOO pick up a 13-7 win. After a tight and tied opening half on Nuke, a near flawless CT side saw TYLOO ease to a 13-7 win to close the series in two.

The semi-finals will take place tomorrow, which will see Morningstar face Lynn Vision while Rare Atom goes up against TYLOO. The winner of the Yuqilin Pinnacle of Battle Season 2 will book their spot for the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, which is a $1,100,000 tournament taking place between March 19- March 29, 2026.
