Team list for BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 locked in
BLAST has revealed the team list for the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 event, with the invited teams and qualified teams being confirmed. Top 12 of the VRS teams (based on the February VRS) have accepted their invite to the event along with the four qualified teams from the Regional qualifiers.
Along with the 12 invited teams which include the likes of Vitality, The MongolZ, Falcons, Spirit, FURIA and Aurora amongst others, the four teams who have qualified from the qualifier events, the Rising tournaments are - Ninjas in Pyjamas (Europe), 9z (South America), NRG (North America) and TYLOO (Asia). With the team list being revealed, we know that two Asian teams will be in attendance at the event as The MongolZ and TYLOO will be the Asian representatives as the event.
The BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 is a $1,100,000 tournament which will take place between March 18- March 29, 2026 in Copenhagen and Rotterdam. The teams will be placed in groups as they fight it out in a double elimination BO3 setup. The Group winners will move to the semi-finals while the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the groups will move to the quarter-finals. The quarter-finals and semi-finals games will be BO3 encounters while the final will be a BO5 encounter. The group stage games will be held in Denmark before moving to Netherlands for the Playoffs.
