Senzu joins Passion UA on loan from The MongolZ

Ukrainian esports organisation, Passion UA, founded by Ajax footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, have announced the signing of Mongolian player Senzu, who will join the team for his first international stint following his benching on The MongolZ. The MongolZ have announced that Senzu is joining Passion UA on loan although the details of the loan has not been revealed yet.

Having broken through with The MongolZ after stints with NKT, Mazaalai and The Shine, the new Passion UA project will be Senzu's first-ever international team with the Mongolian set embark on a new journey. The announcement comes shortly after Passion UA signing Argentine AWPer try and with try set to don the Big Green, Senzu will continue on the rifle, despite him stating that he was open to switch to an AWPing role if needed.

Senzu broke into the scene with The MongolZ in 2023 and had a 1.12 rating with the Mongolian team in 2025 and won the Esports World Cup 2025 as well with them. Senzu also picked up EVPs at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where The MongolZ finished runners-up and also at the Esports World Cup 2025, FISSURE Playground 2 and the Thunderpick World Championship 2025.

Senzu, who was benched by The MongolZ in late October 2025 in a shock move, confirmed that he took the call after discussion with the team due to him being burnt out. Senzu also made history, becoming the first Mongolian and first Asian player from a fully Asian team to make the HLTV Top 20 Players of the Year 2025, where he made his maiden appearance on the list at #13.

Passion UA currently have South African JT leading them with Grim, Kvem, nicx, hallzerk and try on the roster with try expected to replace hallzerk. It has not be announced whom Senzu will be replacing yet. Passion UA are currently ranked #17 in HLTV's World Rankings and #30 on the VRS. Passion UA most recently qualified for IEM Atlanta 2026 after clearing the Americas Closed Qualifier. They are next expected to play at the Roman Imperium Cup V, where Senzu possibly could be making his debut on February 19, 2026.
