The MongolZ fall to the Vitality reverse sweep
The MongolZ have suffered their first loss in Romania as they went down 1-2 to Vitality in their Swiss Round 2 game for teams in the 1-0 pool. After picking up a stunning win on their pick of Mirage, The MongolZ were reverse swept by apEX and co. with them finding just 8 rounds across the last two maps.
The MongolZ saw their pick of Mirage getting the series underway and Vitality kicked things off with the CT pistol. A late five-round streak on their T side saw The MongolZ tie up the half at 6-6 and despite losing both pistols and subsequent conversions, a seven-round CT streak saw The MongolZ take a 13-10 win with cobrazera finding massive impact late on to see the Mongolian team take their map pick.
flameZ and apEX were in form from the get go as Vitality's force buy win despite losing the opening pistol on Dust2 saw Vitality start their pick with an 8-4 lead. A flawless CT side closed out the map with a ZywOo ninja 1v3 seeing Vitality lock in a 13-4 win on their map pick to tie up the series.

Nuke kicked off with a trade of rounds as the force buy wars continued for the opening couple of rounds before flameZ and mezii clutched out a big 2v2 through incredible intuitiveness and that saw Vitality gain momentum to close out their CT side with six rounds to take a 9-3 lead. The MongolZ picked up the second pistol, retaking a 3v3 on the A site but Vitality answered with the force and raced away to a 13-4 win with ropz, who had a slow opening two maps, showcasing stellar form to top the scoreboard with 20 kills and an ADR of 103.9.
The loss drops The MongolZ to the 1-1 pool at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, where they join the likes of Astralis, Natus Vincere (NAVI), Aurora and FaZe amongst others.
