The MongolZ's Cluj-Napoca run over after brawl against Vitality
The MongolZ's run at the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 is over after they went down 0-2 in the second semi-final where they were up against Vitality. After an incredible Mirage to get the series underway, The MongolZ lost steam on Dust2, where Vitality wrapped up the series. Vitality will now take on PARIVISION for the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 title.
An aggressive mid setup saw Vitality pick up the CT pistol to get The MongolZ's pick of Mirage going. After the opening two rounds, once the guns came out, a Techno double opener from ramp saw The MongolZ convert an A hit to get on the board and after a back and forth half, impact from cobrazera and 910's AWP made sure The MongolZ tied up the opening half at 6-6.
The MongolZ went on to take the lead following the conversions but a grueling T side saw Vitality hit map point first before a low buy with mzinho stepping up saw The MongolZ push Mirage to overtime. ropz kicked off overtime with a 1v2 and it was another brawl with cobrazera doing his best to keep The MongolZ in the game but Vitality emerged to be too powerful as they picked up a 16-13 win.

Multi-kills from 910 and cobrazera saw The MongolZ pull off a retake on the A site to get Dust2 underway. Apart from the opening couple of rounds, The MongolZ had no answer to Vitality's T side and it was apEX and co. dominating their way to a 13-3 as ropz had a strong showing to close out the series, dropping 20 kills in on Vitality's map pick.
