cobrazera shines on big stage debut as The MongolZ take down FURIA to make semis in Cluj-Napoca
The MongolZ have booked their place in the semi-finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 after beating FURIA in their quarter-final encounter with FalleN and his boys falling to the Mongolian squad after a heroic fightback on Dust2. The MongolZ will face Vitality next in their semi-final encounter.
The MongolZ's pick of Mirage got the series going with FURIA picking up the CT pistol and anti-eco. Those two rounds were about all FalleN and his boys found as cobrazera's sharp shooting along with 910 taking control everywhere with the AWP saw The MongolZ put up an incredible T side to go 9-3 up. A quick stop to a B hit and an ace from cobrazera against the pistols made sure The MongolZ wasted no time in dominating their way to a 13-3 win.

It was another total stomp from The MongolZ as FURIA had no answer to The MongolZ's defensive set-up which saw bLitz and co. go 9-3 up again. Impact from KSCERATO gave FURIA a desperate CT pistol and nine in a row to get their CT half going saw FURIA hit map point before a double opener from bLitz saw The MongolZ find their first T round. One was all The MongolZ could manage as FURIA answered back with a 13-10 win on their map pick to tie up the series.
A B hit with a triple from mzinho saw The MongolZ start Nuke with the T pistol and The MongolZ were back to top form in no time as Dust2 looked like a distant memory with The MongolZ racing away to a 7-0 start, giving FURIA no chance on their CT side. FURIA's first round came off the back of FalleN stepping up with the Five-Seven before molodoy closed out a low buy with a Deagle 1v2. FURIA once again found only three in the opening half of a map with a big bLitz triple seeing The MongolZ close out the half with a ninth T round.

On his first game for The MongolZ on the big stage, it was cobrazera on top of the scoreboard with a 1.34 rating across the series.
