BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 opening games revealed

BLAST have announced the schedule for the opening games for their BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 event, which is scheduled to take place between March 18-29, 2026. The tournament will be held in Denmark, which will host the Group Stages before moving to Rotterdam, Netherlands for the Playoffs. The event will have The MongolZ and TYLOO as the two Asian representatives.

The $1,100,000 tournament will have 16 teams fighting it out for the prize money and trophy, the even will follow a double elimination BO3 format in the Group Stages, where the group winners will move directly to the semi-finals while the second and third placed teams in each group will move to the quarter-finals. The 16 teams will be divided into two groups of 8. The Playoffs will single elimination BO3 format while the final will be a BO5 encounter.

Amongst the 16 teams, 12 were invited through VRS while the four remaining teams made their way to the event through regional qualifiers. TYLOO cleared the Asian qualifier to be the second Asian team at the event with The MongolZ getting a invite through their VRS placing.

TYLOO are in Group A with the likes of Falcons, FURIA, Natus Vincere (NAVI), NRG, B8, Aurora and FaZe. TYLOO will go up against FalleN and co.'s FURIA squad in their opening game, which is scheduled to take place at 12:00 AM IST on March 19, 2026. The MongolZ meanwhile are in Group B with the likes of Vitality, MOUZ, Spirit, Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, PARIVISION and 9z. The MongolZ will face MOUZ in their opening game, which is scheduled for 9:30 PM IST, March 19, 2026.

The MongolZ have qualified for the Playoffs for PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, where they will face FURIA in the quarter-finals and after the tournament in Romania, The MongolZ will head to Copenhagen for the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 group stages. TYLOO meanwhile haven't been in action since qualifying for the Rotterdam event and the BLAST tournament will be next tournament in which they will be seen in action next.
