Arise beat Eruption to stay alive in the ECL S51 APAC Cup 1
Arise have kept themselves alive in the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 1 after beating Eruption 2-1 in their lower bracket encounter. The win keeps Bhavi and his boys alive and they've got their two international players to thank, who stepped above and beyond, on the decider on Mirage.
Eruption forfeited the opening map of the series with to technical issues, which gave Arise a 1-0 lead in the series. A quick B hit saw Eruption start their pick of Dust2 with the T pistol and barring the first gun round, which Arise picked up thanks to multi-kills from Bhavi and Anasasis, to get on the board, Arise just couldn't stop an aggressive Eruption T side. Wonderzce denied Anasasis a 1v2 to lock in both pistols for the Mongolian team and Eruption wrapped things up with ease a 13-1 win to tie up the series.
Arise pulled off a 5v5 retake on the A site to get the decider on Mirage going and were up 4-0 in no time. A quick B hit saw Eruption pick up their first in the fifth round but it was one-way traffic post that as borosto led from the front to see Arise put up a 9-3 CT half. Bhavi saw off a 1v3 attempt from sideffect to hand Arise both pistols and Arise eased to a 13-3 win to take the series 2-1, bouncing back strongly after a disappointing Dust2.
Next up for Arise will be another Mongolian team, as Bhavi and co. are set to face The QUBE in their lower bracket round 3 match.
