Arise's ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 1 campaign as come to an end after Bhavi and his boys have been eliminated by The QUBE, with the only Indian team going down 0-2 in their lower bracket round 3 game. Arise were a round away from pushing it to overtime but an incredible five overtime filled Mirage affair that saw Arise go down fighting despite borosto's heroics to keep his team in the even.t
The QUBE's pick of Ancient was the series opener with Kamui's clutch against Bhavi giving the Mongolian team the T side pistol. Early B hits from The QUBE saw them go 5-1 up before a massive quad-kill from Bhavi on an upgraded pistol buy saw Arise pick up their second. Two was all Arise found on a sloppy CT half, dropping a couple of man advantage situations in the retake which saw The QUBE go 10-2 up.
A Paranormal triple saw The QUBE keep it clean on the pistol retake but an Anasasis quad on the force buy saw Arise convert an A hit to pick up a much-needed round. The QUBE answered back with a pistol buy steal of their own to hit map point and they managed to wrap things up at 13-4 with Paranormal on top of the scoreboard with 23 kills and an ADR of 119.
Arise got their pick of Mirage underway with a quick A hit and early openers from Bhavi saw Arise go 6-0 up before grizzly's AWP found The QUBE their first round. Arise ended their T side with a four round lead and Bhavi and co. kept it clean to lock in both pistols. Following the conversions from Arise, once the Mongolians brought out the guns, a five-round streak saw them bring it to a one-round game before Anasasis' AWP and borosto helped Arise find map point. Two back-to-back A hits saw The QUBE hold on to push Mirage to overtime.
The QUBE saw off two map points in first overtime to head to double overtime and the Mongolians kept it clean on their T side but Arise fought back. A clean CT half from Bhavi and co. with a double AWP set-up with Bhavi himself picking up the Big Green, saw Arise push it to triple overtime. It was a back and forth affair as no team was willing to go budge and after five grueling overtimes, it was The QUBE walking away with a 28-26 win with borosto's 57-kill performance not being enough for Arise.
With the loss, it is the end of the road for Arise in the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 1, with Bhavi's boys exiting in 7-8th place.
