
Rare Atom start PGL Bucharest East Asia CQ with a convincing win
The first match of the PGL Bucharest East Asia Closed Qualifier saw The Huns take on Rare Atom. The series started on Dust2 where Rare Atom struggled on the T-side and eventually conceded a marginal 5-7 disadvantage but chengking and Tiger went berserk in the second half, posting 130 and 125 ADR showings as Rare Atom dropped just a couple of rounds on their CT-side, closing Dust2 with a 13-9 scoreline.
Three of Rare Atom's players- L1haNg, ChildKing and chengking dropped ratings in excess of 1.40 with the L1haNg topping the charts at 1.70 rating. The Huns had to take down Rare Atom on their pick- Ancient but the Mongolian squad could not get going on the T-side, netting Rare Atom a big a 9-3 lead. Tiger stepped up for Rare Atom in the first half, disrupting The Huns' T-side setups round after round and controlez who stole the spotlight during his stint with The MongolZ, just could not find his footing.
Following pistol and anti-eco wins in the second half, Rare Atom hit a slump, conceding a flurry of rounds. nin9 and Bart4k fragged out for The Huns in the second half, putting four on the trot to narrow the gap at 8-11 but Rare Atom recovered in time and closed Ancient 13-8, taking a 2-0 series win to book their upper-final slot at the PGL Bucharest East Asia Closed Qualifier where they either face Lynn Vision or Chinggis Warriors.
