Senzu, Passion UA eliminated from ESL Pro League Season 23 after loss to HEROIC
Senzu's debut tournament for Passion UA, the ESL Pro League Season 23 has come to a disappointing end as the mixed international squad have been eliminated from Stage 1 by HEROIC following a 0-2 loss in their swiss round 4 game for teams with a 1-2 record. The loss sees Senzu and co. exit their first tournament together as a team with one win and three losses.
The elimination game had kicked off on Passion UA's pick of Overpass and the T-side woes continued for Passion UA as they could manage only four rounds in the opening half. There was little to nothing to be found for Senzu and co. on their CT half as HEROIC stormed to a 13-5 win with xfl0ud on top of the scoreboard with 19 kills.
HEROIC continued their momentum from Overpass to their pick of Nuke as it was a big 6-2 start early on before a couple of late CT rounds saw Passion UA keep it to a two round lead. A 2v4 from Passion UA in the second pistol round including a triple from Senzu saw Passion UA bring it to a one round game but once the guns came out for HEROIC, they kept it clean to wrap things up at 13-8 to close the series 2-0.
The loss sees Passion UA end their ESL Pro League Season 23 journey with a 1-3 record, going out in 12-14th place while HEROIC keeps themselves alive and move into the 2-2 bracket.
