Lynn Vision; CTG survive in the lower bracket

Ground Zero sent packing

The lower bracket games at the CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed qualifier began today with Change The Game taking on Chaos. The best of three started on Dust2 with Change The Game racing to a 9-3 CT-side with ProKiller and VanceKK posting CT-side ratings of 1.83 and 1.76. Chaos displayed a strong CT-side, closing the gap right out the gate and nullifying Change The Game's lead. Change The Game narrowly closed Dust2, 13-11 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Chaos now had to take down Change The Game on their own map pick of Mirage to stay alive in the closed qualifier. VanceKK went 12-3 on the T-side of Mirage, netting Change The Game an 8-1 lead. Chaos clawed back a couple of rounds towards the end but still ended up conceding a significant 4-8 deficit. Chaos carried their momentum forward, putting four on the trot to start their T-side, levelling the score at 8-8. Once again Change The Game got the better of the back and forth trades, closing Mirage 13-10 and wrapping the series 2-0 to send Chaos packing.

In the second game of the lower-bracket, Lynn Vision took on Ground Zero. The opening map of Anubis saw Ground Zero start on the CT-side and restrict Lynn Vision to just seven rounds on the dominant side of the map. Following a 7-5 half, Lynn Vision secured pistol and anti-eco rounds in the second half, inching closer to the double digit mark. Despite winning rounds here and there, Ground Zero could not get going on the T-side of Ancient, conceding the map 10-13 and going down 0-1 in the series.

Lynn Vision's map pick of Dust2 saw z4KR and Starry go berserk on the T-side, posting ADRs in excess of 100 and ratings in excess of the 2.00 mark to fetch Lynn Vision a massive 10-2 lead in the first half. Ground Zero conceded the pistol and anti-eco in the second half, handing Lynn Vision the match and series point at 12-2 but the Aussies kept fighting with a four-rounds win streak. However, the climb was too steep as Lynn Vision needed just a single round, which they delivered and secured Dust2 13-6. The 2-0 win, keeps Lynn Vision alive in the lower bracket of the CS Asia Championships 2026 closed qualifier while sending Ground Zero home.
