BOROS joins Alter Ego

Jordanian rifler BOROS has joined BnTeT and co. at Alter Ego. He announced his arrival yesterday on X and expressed his excitement towards sharing the server with Polbandana, BnTeT and Gratisfaction. "we have a big chance to qualify for the next 2 majors", wrote BOROS while specifying their intent towards making it to the Singapore Major this year.

BOROS made a name for himself in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's last Major at BLAST.tv Paris 2023, turning heads with his sharp aim and relentless aggression. BOROS was snatched up by Falcons a while after the Paris Major where he delivered a string of underwhelming showings. At the time, a video surfaced on social media showing Falcons' coach zonic and IGL at the time, snappi digging into BOROS for changing his mouse before an important event and fiddling around with his settings mid-game.

When his stint with Falcons came to an end, BOROS was picked up by Into The Breach, another team that shone at the Paris Major. Widespread rumors surfaced on social media platforms regarding BOROS's regular irregularity when it came to practice sessions and punctuality. Not long after, Into The Breach benched BOROS. BOROS went on to spend the next year with JijieHao without winning a single event. He announced his departure from JijieHao in early February 2026.

BOROS has already started his journey with Alter Ego at the CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier. After posting initial wins against Lynn Vision and Rare Atom, Alter Ego were knocked down to the lower bracket by Chinggis Warriors, where they have locked in a rematch against Lynn Vision in the lower quarter-finals with their backs against elimination.
