Lynn Vision outlast Alter Ego to make CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier consolidation final
Mixed Asian squad Alter Ego's run at the CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier has come to an end as PokemoN and co. have gone down to Lynn Vision in the lower bracket final. The three map series saw Alter Ego start with a big win on their pick before Lynn Vision reverse swept themselves into the Consolidation final.
Alter Ego's pick of Overpass got the series underway as both teams traded rounds in the opening half to keep the score tied. A stellar CT half from Alter Ego saw them go flawless to a 13-6 win to draw first blood in the series. Alter Ego continued the momentum into Dust2, starting 5-0 on their CT side before Lynn Vision managed to bring it to a two round game. It was the Chinese team this time with a stellar CT half that saw them tie up the series with a 13-9 win, as z4KR's AWP took control on Dust2.
The decider on Nuke saw Alter Ego once again start with a promise, going 6-0 up on their T side to start with a 8-4 lead but Lynn Vision fought back with a streak of CT rounds to take the game to overtime and it was the Chinese team holding on for a 19-15 win in double overtime to steal the series 2-1.
The win puts Lynn Vision in the consolidation final against Chinggis Warriors, with the winner of the game set to book their place at the CS Asia Championships 2026.
