The MongolZ crash out of ESL Pro League Season 23 Playoffs after loss to NAVI
The MongolZ's ESL Pro League Season 23 run has come to an end in the quarter-finals after bLitz and co. went down to Natus Vincere (NAVI) in straight maps. A maaRaa-less The MongolZ put up a strong fight on NAVI's pick of Ancient but on their own map pick of Mirage, the Mongolian squad were swept aside as they fell in a heap to get eliminated.
Doubles from Techno and 910 saw The MongolZ start Ancient with the CT pistol but they weren't able to build a big lead off that as an A hit saw NAVI get on the board in the first gun round of the half and a back and forth half saw late impact from 910's AWP help The MongolZ take a 7-5 lead. NAVI taking the second pistol saw them go on to tie up the score and another scrappy half saw NAVI edge The MongolZ out with a 13-11 score line.
Mirage was a non-starter for The MongolZ as bLitz and co. went missing on their own map pick. makazze led a stellar CT half for NAVI as they went 10-2 up. A cobrazera triple netted The MongolZ a much needed CT pistol but a quick A hit on the force buy saw NAVI answer back and NAVI stormed to a dominant 13-4 win to close out the series with a 2-0 score line.
