CS Asia Championships 2026 invited team list revealed

Perfect World has announced the invited team list for their upcoming CS Asia Championships 2026 event, which will take place in Shanghai, China between May 20- May 24, 2026. The tournament will have a prize pool of $1,000,000 and will have teams likes Falcons, PARIVISION, The MongolZ attend the event along with s1mple's BC.Game.

Out of the 16 teams that will take part, 14 are invited teams including the likes of PARIVISION, Falcons, The MongolZ, Aurora, BC.Game, Liquid and MOUZ amongst others. TYLOO and Lynn Vision will be the only two home teams with both teams having qualified through the Asia Closed Qualifier. The Shanghai event is also one of the final prominent LAN events before the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

The tournament will kick off with the group stages on May 20- May 22, which will see the 16 teams divided into two groups of 8 and will follow a double elimination bracket. The opening games will be BO1s before moving to BO3s. The group winners will directly qualify for the semi-finals while the second and third placed teams will play deciders. The Playoffs will take place on May 23 and May 24, 2026 and will be a single elimination encounter. The semi-finals and the third place decider game will be BO3 encounters while the final will be a BO5 match.
