Arise fall flat against Chinggis Warriors
Bhavi and Ph1NNN suffered their first loss at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 as their Arise team went down to Chinggis Warriors in the upper bracket quarter-finals. Its not the end of the road though for Arise as Bhavi's boys drop to the lower bracket where they will now face elimination games moving ahead.
Arise's pick of Mirage saw tikuak and Efire help the Mongolian team pick up the CT pistol and after a 5-0 start a borosto opener saw Arise convert an A hit to get on the board. Five on the trot saw Arise tie up the score but that was it as it was an eight-round streak saw Chinggis Warriors close Mirage at 13-5. On the Mongolian team's pick of Inferno, a quick A hit saw Arise pick up their first pistol of the series and Bhavi and co. were 4-0 up in no time before Chinggis Warriors brought out their guns and got on the board. Chinggis Warriors showed the difference in skill between the two teams as tikuak led the charge for the Mongolian team who eased to another 13-5 win, to close the series in two. In a disappointing showing for Arise, Ph1NNN finished as the only member of the Arise team who finished the series with a positive rating (1.05).
The loss has dropped Arise to the lower bracket round 2 where they will face Chinese squad Just Swing in the elimination game. Chinggis Warriors meanwhile have moved to the upper bracket semi-finals where they will take on the winner of The QUBE vs NSN game.
