TYLOO wins XSE GangKui Cup Season 2
Despite all the VRS, IEM Cologne Major 2026 invites and forfeit talks, TYLOO turned up on the server when needed as the Chinese team beat FlyQuest to lift the XSE GangKui Cup Season 2 Finals title. After a stomping in the first map, FlyQuest hit back to push the final to a decider and the Moseyuh and JamYoung show saw TYLOO secure a 2-1 win.
The final kicked off on TYLOO's pick of Mirage, where a 10-round T side saw the storm to a 13-2 win to kick off the series. nettik and jks fought back for FlyQuest on their own pick of Anubis as the Oceania team answered back with a 13-8 win of their own, seeing off a late comeback attempt from TYLOO. On the decider on Nuke, the T-side pistol and conversions meant TYLOO started with another big lead, going 8-4 this time before locking in both pistols. Despite losing to the force from FlyQuest, TYLOO made sure to wrap things up quickly and with Moseyuh and JamYoung having a strong map, TYLOO closed the final with a 13-8 win.
The win sees TYLOO take home a prize money of $7,500 along with the XSE GangKui Cup Season 2 Finals while FlyQuest heads home from Shanghai with a $3,750 prize money. For TYLOO, it was a hard fought title win as they lost to SemperFi in their opening game. Dropping to the lower bracket, they beat UR, The Huns, Rare Atom and Chinggis Warriors to make the final against FlyQuest. FlyQuest on the other side had a clean, flawless run into the finals, taking down UR, SemperFi and Chinggis Warriors to make the finals, without dropping a map in the tournament before their loss on Mirage.
