borosto jumps up to #1 in FACEIT's SEA rankings

FACEIT posted regional leaderboards on X yesterday and on the Southeast Asian side of things, its BOROSTO leading the way at #1 with an Elo of 4,209. borosto has lit up servers over the past couple of weeks, posting an impressive 1.5 K/D on average. The Russian rifler is currently with Arise and his last official came at ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup #3 in a 0-2 loss against Chinggis Warriors.

Apart from borosto, three other Southeast Asian players- Polbandana (4,049 Elo), K1anakaslana (4,006 Elo) and Boonrywin (4,004 Elo) stay afloat above the 4,000 Elo mark with just two points of Elo separating K1anakaslana and Boonrywin at #3 and #4. Chinese player Deaddepressed rounds of the Southeast Asian top five with an Elo of 3,933.

FACEIT's season 7 is set to conclude on 21st April 2026 and season 8 will begin with a soft Elo reset. FACEIT has also announced various other changes that the new season will bring, including a new scoreboard metric called "FACEIT rating".
