ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 Day 7: Recap
The penultimate day at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 saw the Consolidation final take place as the all-Mongolian clash between NEXVOID and Chinggis Warriors took place. With a spot in the final, a three-map thriller took place with Chiggis Warriors pulling out a big reverse sweep to stay alive in the tournament at the expense of their countrymen. Chinggis Warriors now have set up a grand final date with FengDa for a place in the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals.
The consolidation final kicked off on Nuke where Chinggis Warriors started with a four-round lead before AccuracyTG and Zesta powered the comeback for NEXVOID. Chinggis Warriors had to hold on to push for overtime but it was the veteran erkaSt along with MiQ and AccuracyTG getting NEXVOID over the line at 19-16.
Moving to NEXVOID's pick of Chinggis Warriors, it was the tikuak show as a strong T side saw them tie up the series with a 13-8 win. On the decider on Dust2, a back and forth affair once again headed to overtime with a 35 kill show from tikuak saw Chinggis Warriors steal a 19-17 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.
