FACEIT to introduce seasonal profile badges

With season 7 of FACEIT coming to a close in a couple of days, FACEIT has announced yet another addition to season 8's changes. The new season will come with a handful of changes with the biggest one being a soft Elo reset. Alongside other new additions like the FACEIT rating, placement matches and match insights, the latest announcement reveals seasonal profile badges.

These badges can be displayed on one's profile and will indicate the seasonal progression in relation to the total wins. FACEIT announced that these seasonal badges come with missions- five of them to be precise. Upon completing each mission, the seasonal profile badge upgrades to the next iteration. The final profile badge will be based on the following:

• Number of wins in that season

• Number of challenges completed

• Highest rank achieved that season

These missions and challenges that count towards the seasonal profile badge progression are free for all players and do not require a premium subscription. Players will receive their final badge after season 8 concludes. Players who do not complete any of the challenges will not receive a badge.
