Arise suffers another early exit
Bhavi and Ph1NNN's Arise has seen their ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 campaign come to an early end after going down 0-2 to Chinese team Last Bullet in their lower bracket round 1 game. After forfeiting their opening game, Arise fell to the lower bracket after the opening day and have been sent home on the second day, putting an end to their hopes of making it Asia-Pacific Finals.
Arise started the series on their pick of Dust2 as an Anasasis triple on the Dualies saw them pick up the T side pistol. Bhavi and co. though, weren't able to capitalise on that as they dropped a round to a mixed up as BZA's double Deagle kill got Last Bullet on the board. A seven round CT streak saw the Chinese team win out the opening half before Anasasis' AWP found a double opener to help Arise get their third round. Multi-kill from lan and Miami saw Last Bullet end the half with a 9-3 lead but it was Kcation making sure Arise locked in both pistols on Dust2.
Early impact from Ph1NNN on the CT side helped Arise bring it to a two-round game before a quick B hit saw Last Bullet put up their first T round. Four consecutive hits on the B site saw Last Bullet abuse a poor B hold to lock in Dust2 at 13-7.
Last Bullet started their pick of Mirage with the T pistol following an A site hit but the pistols of Ph1NNN and Bhavi saw Arise answer back instantly with a big eco-round win. A back and forth affair saw a tied half to kick things off before Arise locked in both pistols on Mirage to retake the lead. B1NGO along with lan's AWP saw Last Bullet hit double digits first before borosto stepped up to make sure Arise pushed Mirage to overtime.
It took four overtime and it was Last Bullet holding on for a 25-22 win with borosto and Ph1NNN's 48 and 41 kill performance going in vain for Arise. The loss means Arise's ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 campaign has come to an early end as they exit in 13-16th place.
