Valve's May 2026 VRS update out
Valve has just released the May 2026 VRS update and not a lot has changed on the Asian side of things. Within the top five everyone holds on to their spots with The MongolZ posting a hefty lead at the top. NEXVOID and 5start drop down a couple places as Rare Atom make their way back into the Asian top 10.
Arise is the only team left in the Asian VRS that fields Indian players. Previously at #29, Bhavi's team has now moved out of the Asian top 30, sitting at #33. Bhavi and Ph1NNN have been trying their hand at ESL Challenger League circuits but have not found the success they're looking for yet. Their most recent outing came at ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4, where the Indian duo crashed out of the tournament in the first lower bracket round.
XSE Pro League is the only notable event that is set to hand out invites based on the latest Valve Regional Standings update. Carrying a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, the tournament looks to bring the top sixteen teams from the Global VRS to a Chinese LAN.
