Haunted House take down Change the Game
Both the lower bracket semi-finals have come to a close in Group B at the Hero Asian Champions League as both groups gear up for penultimate clashes in upper and lower brackets. In Group B, THUNDER dOWNUNDER sent Alter Ego packing in the first lower bracket round and Haunted House eliminated Last Bullet heading into the lower semi-finals.

Change The Game
After their hard fought win against Last Bullet in the first round of Group B's lower bracket, Haunted House came out all guns blazing in the lower semi-final. Despite struggling on the CT-side of Inferno, Haunted House posted a near-flawless T-side to take the first map away from Change The Game in a convincing 13-6 fashion. 100+ ADR showings from SasukeQO and fr0k propelled Haunted House's dominant T-side.
On Dust2, Haunted House secured a convincing 8-4 lead off of a solid CT-side but struggled once the sides switched. Both teams went round for round but the Chinese's side's deficit came back to bite them as Haunted Haunted limped across the line at 13-9 despite splitting a 5-5 second half.

THUNDER dOWNUNDER vs SemperFi
The second and last lower semi-final saw an Australian derby featuring THUNDER dOWNUNDER and SemperFi. The series started on Inferno with THUNDER dOWNUNDER posting a massive 9-3 lead on the CT-side. The pistol round was all that SemperFi could get in the second half as THUNDER dOWNUNDER bagged a convincing 13-4 win to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
SemperFi looked comparatively more competitive on the second map, taking a slight 7-5 advantage on the CT-side of Nuke but THUNDER dOWNUNDER hit double figures ahead of SemperFi off of a five-round streak. SemperFi clawed their way back into the map and pushed it into overtime where aliStair stole the first round with a 1v2 in the post-plant off of a ninja defuse, setting up THUNDER dOWNUNDER for a flawless CT-side to hit match point at 15-12. SemperFi conceded the map 13-16 as THUNDER dOWNUNDER wrapped the series 2-1.
