TYLOO take down 5star to stay alive at Hero ACL
Group A's penultimate matchup has concluding leaving just the group final remaining. In the consolidation final, TYLOO met 5star again. The Chinese side knocked 5star down to the lower bracket in the second round in a convincing 2-0 fashion and this time around was no better for 5tar.
The series began on Overpass and 5star kept things competitive right till the very end. TYLOO's pistol and anti-eco wins in the first half could not net them a solid lead as the Chinese side settled for a 7-5 T-side. 5star levelled the score right away in the second half but TYLOO emerged slightly ahead in the back and forth trades, eventually skipping across the line at 13-10. Mercury and Jee finished the map with 23 frags each.
5star fell flat on their own map pick of Anubis, conceding a crushing 2-10 deficit on the CT-side. With three of TYLOO's players crossing the 1.40 rating mark in the first half, 5star's CT-side crumbled. A clean three-round streak on the CT-side saw TYLOO close Overpass 13-2 and wrap the series 2-0 to stay alive at the Hero Asian Champions League. TYLOO have now setup a rematch against JijieHao with the winner advancing to the grand-final.
